Julia Fox has been in the news for the past several days, as she’s been spotted out with Kanye West in both Miami and New York. And while that’s made the model and actor the talk of the town, Fox’s looks deserve the most attention. Last night, she attended Slave Play in a midnight blue and black Sies Marjan coat paired with black pants and shin-skimming black patent leather pointy-toe boots. For a shirt, Fox wore a Balenciaga nylon and spandex mock neck top that included the house’s B logo on the collar. (That wasn’t the only Balenciaga moment. West wore a Balenciaga World Food Programme jacket along with his Red Wing Shoes work boots–also shin-skimming.) Jeremy O. Harris, the creator of Slave Play attended the show with the duo, and wore a full–and very colorful–Gucci look.
Later that night, Fox had a daring outfit change. She switched out her Sies Marjan for a large black leather coat and showed off her teeny Balenciaga Hourglass bag. But the real risk-taking moment was Fox’s black Miaou pants that sat low on the body and revealed an exposed thong.
A longtime downtown New York siren, Fox has mastered bombshell style. Her movie roles often reflect that, whether she is playing a fast-talking, print-wearing jewelry dealer in Uncut Gems or an old Hollywood-style housewife-wife mistress in No Sudden Move. In a 2021 interview with Vogue, she said Anna Nicole Smith is one of her style icons. “She’s unapologetically herself, and that’s what drew so many people to her.” And while there is certainly buzz surrounding Fox’s recent outings, we look forward to seeing what she will wear next.
